Holy Cow I finally figured out what to click on, got it downloaded and it looks like it worked! Just the Constant Error Message - Troubleshooter didn't fix it either. Try these, it really won't hurt your system.

Feedback by Peter on 1.jan.2016 – I think I have found a solution to Internet Explorer has stopped working.  I tried many, many suggested solutions, but the one that seems to be Reboot - and all hell broke loose. If you have an older version of Internet Explorer, I recommend downloading Internet Explorer 9 (offline installer, not one of those stupid web installers that always fail).
